Esperanza Summer Camp Guidelines
- Be on time. Summer camp starts at 7:30am sharp! And should conclude at 9:30am.
- Roll will be taken and you are expected to be at practice when you are not on vacation.
- Athlete’s not attending 50% of the time at summer camp may be asked to complete a time-trial at the beginning of the regular season to determine whether the athlete would be allowed to participate on the team for the fall season. They also will NOT be allowed to compete on the Varsity squad during the fall competitive season.
- Athletes should bring water bottles and/or another type of replacement drink to summer camp.
- Athletes are expected to complete workouts as designed by the coaching staff. Misbehavior, disrespecting of the coaching staff, cutting/walking of runs, and unsafe running and road habits will be grounds for dismissal from the summer camp, immediately!
- Athletes should notify the coaching staff if they are going to miss workouts for an extended period of time (3 or more consecutive days).
- All injuries no matter how minor they appear will be reported to the coaching staff. Appropriate shoes should be worn while attending the summer camp. The coaching staff can assist in recommending the correct shoes and running equipment.
- Effort, attitude, willingness to be coached, and a Time Trial will be used to determine who will be on the team for the fall season. It is recommended that all athletes participate in the summer camp to insure the highest physical fitness is achieved during the summer months.
I have read and agree to comply with the summer camp guidelines.
